Today's Run

I ran 3.7 miles this morning! My knee feels so much better, but my speed is not back yet. That's a good thing though...I want to ease my knee back into it so that I don't hurt it even more. The weather stayed clear, but the clouds were beautiful, and it felt like rain. The only thing that really sucks about running during this time of year is the leaves...they are slippery mo fo's.

Paper Shredder

Paid some bills today...it still makes me feel like a grown up.  I still need to clean the house, but I don't feel grown up enough for that today.

After my stupid hardwood floor slip on Tuesday night, I couldn't run until yesterday.  My knee is still a little stiff/sore, but it didn't feel too bad to run on it.  

Why is it Sunday already???

Man.

I Can't Sleep

I am so anxious about this day, I cannot sleep.  I've been awake since 2:50am.  Argh.

Tattoo Show & Tell

Sharing my newest tattoos...
The anchor was originally done in 2005, but the color was really light pink and a lot of people thought it was a "brand." So, I had Chris from ArtCore retouch it with a more vibrant color and shading a few months ago. I love it!



Chris also did the "N" on my wrist earlier this summer as well. It's my 4th and latest tattoo, and I love this one a lot. The N is my maiden name initial (duh, if you know me). I had to have it retouched a little because some of the ink didn't take the first time around. Second time's the charm for this one!

Seriously, I'm considering my next tattoo. I'm thinking of having one done behind my ear...don't know what yet though. Hmmm.

I'll post pics of my Rose of Sharon tattoo soon. :)

Meet Murphy

Meet my kitten, Murphy.  He's about 9 months old and a purebred Burmese.  Apparently they are a good breed for people with allergies (Travis).  :-)  

He usually talks a lot more than this.
